SVT is currently hiring an experienced Solutions Architect in Chicago, Illinois.

Summary Of Functions

SVT’s Solutions Architect interfaces with end users and channel partners to design, estimate, and quote audio visual system solutions. The Solutions Architect is responsible for determining the most appropriate technology for the opportunity and ensures sales presentation and purchase order process is adhered to for successful kick off of projects.

Our Solution Architects are responsible for both presales and selling activities, which is why our compensation plan includes a competitive salary as well as a commission plan.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with end user and channel partner resources (Account Managers, Professional Service Managers).
  • Work with end users and channel partners to design, estimate and quote AV solutions.
    Keep up-to-date records for forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in developing video conferencing, digital signage, pro audio, and other AV solutions.
  • Knowledge of IP networking, standards-based video conferencing environments, DSP audio, and AV control systems.
  • Specific familiarity with Biamp, Cisco, Crestron, Harman professional (AMX, SVSi, Crown, JBL, DBX, BSS), and Polycom products.
  • InfoComm CTS-D preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of sales experience.
  • Must have five years+ experience designing professional AV and collaboration solutions.
  • Must have five years+ experience managing sales book of business.
  • Must be based in Chicago, IL.
